aubin & wills

I'm learning all kinds of new things today - from this post, I did some further investigation into the tote bag and found Aubin & Wills, a super cool English store (similar to APC) with great graphics. Love the fox! The second print is by the artist who did the Aubin & Wills home page art, Alan Kitching.

glam lawn games.

this game of bocce ball might be the best dressed in existence.

camille.

why have I never seen this amazing jewelry before? seen here.
Camillle Miceli for Dior.

b&w graphic goodies.

I don't love kristen stewart, she's too pouty for me.
However, this UK Elle cover is great. It's stark, simple and graphic.
B&W calligraphy by Jenna.

mae mae paperie.
love this gal and her gorgeous goods.
(as if I know her personally, I wish!)

and in contrast...

subdued spring woodland hues. found here.
everything at rifle paper is amazing, including their blog.
As well as their use of the new Eames typeface from House Industries.
I want it!

punchy hues for summer.

is it summer yet? photography here.

a modern texas wedding.

this wedding has amazing details. adore the pic on the roof.

bow.

I tried on this dress as well. So gorgeous with the offset bow on the back.
And now for life of me I cannot remember if it's Oscar or Carolina.
So many dresses tried on in one weekend!

jcrew.

Last but not least we went to Jcrew.
The Gracie was the best out of all them. So classic and elegant.

vera.

The option at Vera literally took my breath away it was so gorgeous. The only pic I could find was the runway shot which was not how I styled it. I wore it without the shrug and with a thick, wide black grosgrain sash - tied with a dramatic bow in the back. Love this one too!

monique i love you.

The clear winner at Monique was the Rhianna.
I'd do a custom bustle at the bottom to tighten the skirt to more of a mermaid shape and really accentuate the plummage. I love it.

oscar

I tried on this gem this weekend, sans massive birdcage veil.
It was amazingly gorgeous on.

birdcage veil.

I am very ambivalent about the veil...but doesn't this bride look gorgeous?
Maybe I'll try this gem on at my Oscar de la Renta
bridal appointment tomorrow!

uber-cool.

i think they may be the coolest couple of all time
(well that's an exaggeration, but they are amazing).
I cannot wait to see the pictures of their wedding,
it's sure to be the most unique shindig ever.
Found these gems on OLOL blog
(the other half of the fabulous photo / dj collaboration).

ps_ why is there a big space at the top,
even though I didn't put a space? crazy blogspot.

engagement photos

I love them. Hayley (our friend and amazing photographer)
did such a great job capturing our photos!
We traveled all over california to our favorites spots in Venice, Palm Springs, Joshua Tree and the downtown area, where we stopped at the Griffith Observatory and out and about near MacArthur Park.

Here's the link to view them all on Flickr.
Enjoy (and view in slideshow for larger images!) xoxo.
